Customizing your site
If you're using the hosted site (rather than your own website), the Site page is your design studio. One clean template, your content, your colors.
Sections
Toggle sections on or off and reorder them with the arrows. Available sections:
- Hero — your logo, a headline (defaults to your restaurant name), a subhead, a background photo, and the big Order Online button.
- Menu — always on; it's the point of the site. Customers can add to their cart right from here.
- About — your story, with an optional photo. A couple of warm paragraphs go a long way.
- Hours & Location — pulled automatically from your profile and Hours settings, with an optional embedded map.
- Contact / FAQ — free-form text plus an optional contact form that emails you.
- Photo Gallery — 3 to 12 photos in a grid. It hides itself until you've added at least 3.
- Reviews — quotes you enter by hand, with attribution. Pick your favorites from Google or Yelp.
- Footer — social links and a closing line.
Colors
Two colors drive the whole template:
- Primary — header, buttons, footer.
- Accent — links, prices, highlights.
The pickers show a live contrast readout. Colors that would make text unreadable are blocked, not just warned about — your site stays accessible (WCAG 2.1 AA) no matter what you pick. If a brand color is rejected, try a darker shade of it.
Images
Uploads accept JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 5MB, and are automatically resized and converted for fast loading. For hero backgrounds, wide photos (roughly 1600×900) look best; gallery photos display as squares.
Publishing
The Site page tracks your four publishing requirements and lights up Publish site when they're met. You can unpublish anytime — and remember, your subdomain is permanent once you've published.
